Hometime

New Orleans and the lake

How many bags??

Sitting in the lovely new Tom Bradley Terminal at LAX - what an improvement.
Flight departs 10.30pm tonight. Two other travellers left New Orleans by train this morning, heading for Washington DC, seven are staying on in LA and are going to,play at Disneyland, while the rest of us will be pleased to,land in Auckland at 6.30am Thursday.

This isn't the end, keep checking back for photos from the travellers.

Street Art. These 'Trolley Cars' are found all around the city, painted by differe artists.

What a Wonderful World. Well, not really, this park must had suffered quite badly in Hurricane Katrina and has only basic maintenance done since. Lawns mown but not much more. The two big auditoriums are boarded up. Bit sad.

Lovely bronzes through the walkways

Louder Louis, louder!

Still having fun in New Orleans - well we're at the time

The trolley cars are cheap and fun to ride, three dollars and you can ride multiple times u til 4am the following day. The cars are double-ended, so Paula had a 'drive'.

The Natchez Steamboat was a heaps of fun and a great brunch trip.

A bit disconcerting that the Last Supper was below the image of old New Orleans!

Grain barges.

Fab steam engine.

Fun shopping at the Riverwalk Mall
